Windows Is In Notification Period Calendar.Microsoft notes that the issue was not caused by the release of security updates for Windows 7 in January 2019. Windows 7 Professional and Windows 7 Enterprise editions were affected by the issue (and probably any other edition using Key Management Service activation). On Windows 10, when an application receives an alert, a toast notification briefly displays in the bottom-left corner of the screen for five seconds before it's directed to Action center.
